Beetroot 500g = approx. 1-2 medium to large beetroots or 7-9 smaller beets.

Beetroot is rich in antioxidants and a great source of potassium, magnesium, iron, vitamins A, B6 and C, and folic acid and is believed to help protect the artery walls by reducing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.
