Build Your Own Box: What You Need To Know

With a new way of shopping your local, chemical free and certified organic produce online through us comes a whole bunch of questions. To best answer them we've put together this little cheat sheet.A big thank you to our social followers for taking part in our recent instagram stories, many of these have come straight from you.
To give you as much insight and info on how our Build Your Own Box works and why it might just be the best thing you have ever subscribed to in your life, read on.

  • How does BYOB work?
You simply choose the produce you want for that week, in the quantities needed. These quantities will be listed in the product description so you know exactly how much and for what price.
  • I love the seasonal boxes, will these still be available?
Yes. Our seasonal boxes are not going anywhere. We are wanting to offer a more tailored experience to our community so the option to build your own will be available but not the only way to shop.
  • Can I add extras like meat and eggs to my BYOB?
Absolutely! You can build your own box with fruit and veggies and then add your meat, bread, eggs or any other extras we have available.
  • Will I always get exactly what I ordered?
There are inevitably going to be hiccups when dealing with fresh produce. We will always do our best to source the item you need, however from time to time an item may be unavailable. If this is the case, you will be contacted and offered an alternative product or refund on that item.
  • What if an item is not available?
Similar to the above. We update our website weekly to reflect what is in season. If we are unable to source an item, we will list it as unavailable until we can. If you have ordered something that we cannot source that week,  you will be contacted and offered an alternative product or refund on that item.
  • Is there a limit to what I can order?
No. As long as we can source it, you can order it. Our quantities will be listed in either 500g, 750g or 1000g depending on the produce. You can add multiple of the same item to bulk up your order or stick to the minimum, it's up to you.
  • Is it all Organic?
We source both local, seasonal and organic. If the produce is certified organic, it will be listed as so in the product title so there is no confusion and you can be clear what you are eating.
  • Can I subscribe to a BYOB?
Yes you can. You will have the ability to add to your cart once and subscribe to get your preferred goods delivered weekly or fortnightly. You are able to add, swap and cancel items from your weekly shop before Sunday 8pm. There is no discount offered at this stage for individual produce as we provide a competitive price.
  • What days can I order?

Our ordering window runs from Monday through to Sunday for the following week with an order cut off at 8pm Sunday. If you order on a Monday, your box will not be delivered until the following Wednesday or Thursday. If you order Thursday, your box will be delivered the following week on Wednesday or Thursday. You can find more about our delivery here.

  • What day will my box be delivered?
Our delivery days are Wednesday for anything South of the bridge at Harwood and Thursday for anything North. Please reach out if this is your first box and you need to clarify your delivery day.
  • Is there a minimum order value?
Yes. As a small business we work hard to compete with the industry giants in an unfair industry. Our pricing is competitive and our produce speaks for itself in quality, taste and freshness. A minimum order of $50 is required to shop with us.
If you are ready to make the change and support local, seasonal, organic and whole farming processes then it's time to shop your BYOB
  • Will it be a set price or priced on weight?
It will be a mix of both. Some items will be priced on a set weight IE. 250g,  500g, 1000g ect and some produce will be priced per item. This will be dictated by the grower.
We are so very excited to release this way to shop with us and it has been a long time coming. So time to jump in, shop local and shop organic straight to your door. BYOB is launching June 1st.
